Lion Of Judah Israel Delegation To London

In late November 2025, a delegation of 42 members of Lion of Judah Israel travelled to London for an in-depth visit at the invitation of Lion of Judah England. The visit was designed as a journey of content and connection, with the aim of strengthening ties between the communities, deepening familiarity with British Jewry, and gaining a direct understanding of the challenges, dilemmas, and opportunities facing the Jewish community in the complex reality of 2025.

The program combined historical and cultural tours with meaningful encounters with communal, social, and spiritual leadership. The delegation visited synagogues and leading cultural institutions, and enjoyed unique behind-the-scenes access to major cultural venues in the city, including the London Opera House.

A central focus of the visit was Jewish communal leadership. Panels and in-depth conversations were held with women in leadership positions, educators, representatives of community organizations, and young activists. Discussions addressed Jewish identity, community resilience, the fight against antisemitism, UK–Israel relations, and the significance of Jewish and Zionist engagement at this time.

Alongside the formal program, participants were hosted for dinners in private homes, enabling warm, personal, and authentic encounters with everyday community life. During the visit, the delegation met a wide range of inspiring figures from British Jewish society: women in senior public and community leadership roles, including a member of the House of Lords, social activists, educators, leaders of community security organizations, young opinion leaders, as well as cultural figures – an internationally active artist and sculptor and a well-known British Jewish actress – who spoke candidly about identity, creativity, courage, and public engagement in challenging times.

The combination of substantive content, personal encounters, culture, art, and open dialogue created an exceptional experience. It was a moving, enriching, and inspiring visit that strengthened the sense of partnership, laid the groundwork for meaningful future collaboration between the foundations, and extended an invitation to additional women to join future journeys of connection, learning, and impact.
